About Welwyn Tool Group
Welwyn Tool Group Ltd is a specialist supplier of professional plastic welding equipment, hot air tools and industrial process heating solutions, supporting businesses and tradespeople across the UK and Northern Ireland.
Based in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, we are the authorised UK sales and service centre for Leister, a globally recognised manufacturer of high-performance plastic welding and industrial heating equipment. We combine an extensive product range with expert technical knowledge, dependable customer service and comprehensive after-sales support.
Our equipment serves a wide variety of industries and applications, including roofing, construction, civil engineering, plastic fabrication, flooring installation, manufacturing and industrial processing. Whether customers require specialist machinery for geomembrane welding, tools for joining PVC-coated fabrics, equipment for vinyl flooring installation or advanced industrial hot air systems, we can help identify the right solution.
Our product portfolio includes Leister welding machines, handheld hot air tools, extrusion welders, automatic welding equipment, industrial heaters, blowers, accessories and genuine replacement parts. We also supply complementary products from other established manufacturers, providing customers with additional choice.
At Welwyn Tool Group, our commitment extends well beyond supplying equipment. Our experienced technical team provides practical application advice, product demonstrations, specialist training and ongoing support to help customers achieve reliable, professional results.
We also operate an authorised Leister service and repair centre at our Hertfordshire premises. With trained technicians and an extensive stock of genuine spare parts, we aim to diagnose and repair equipment quickly, often achieving turnaround times of just 24–48 hours, helping businesses minimise downtime and maintain productivity.
For customers requiring equipment for shorter projects, we also offer selected machines for hire, providing flexibility without the need for outright purchase.
We understand that professional equipment represents an important investment. That is why we place such importance on product reliability, expert guidance, preventative maintenance and responsive technical assistance throughout the working life of every machine.
Whether you are an independent tradesperson, specialist contractor or established industrial manufacturer, Welwyn Tool Group is here to provide the equipment, expertise and service your business needs.
