Automatic Glove Box Welding System

Weldlogic have recently install an Automatic Glove Box Welding System, for the welding of critical aluminium components for the medical industry. The challenging project required welds of extremely high quality that met the requirements of stringent pressure test and x ray examinations. To meet the required acceptance criteria all welds were carried out in a custom designed glove box , with the welding being controlled using the latest AWS 6100 automatic welding system. The AWS 6100 was configured for AC welding, comprising of arc voltage control, and custom wire feed mounted inside the glove box. Detailed development and qualification of parameters were carried out by Weldlogic providing the customer with a total solution for this project.
