Uninterruptible Power Supplies DC-UPS Safe power supply for automation applications that bridge mains failures for up to 30 minutes at 40 A Weidmüller's uninterruptible power supply (DC-UPS) delivers a highly reliable 24 V power supply for automation applications. This means that costly machinery and system downtimes are avoided and safety functions, process controls and communications are kept up and running for a defined period of time should a mains failure occur. The maintenance-free buffer module is ideal for transient interruptions in the range of several 100 milliseconds. In addition, depending on usage, customers can expect a lifetime of up to 10 years from the device. The UPS controller, in connection with a battery module, is able to bridge longer mains failures, safely and reliably. It provides power up to 40 A for 30 minutes or 1 A for 30 hours, depending on the requirements. The temperature-compensated charging feature ensures a long battery life and five graded battery modules between 1.3 and 17 Ah ensure custom-fit usage. DC-UPS modules can be installed adjacent to each other in the cabinet, as they are only 66 mm wide. TÜV certification, cURus and cULus approvals facilitate the use of these products around the world
