The history of WashTec UK is one of continual change and success. Since the company was first started in 1986 under the name Wesumat by Ian Kemp and John Hogan, it has always strived to be the first with new innovations and first class customer service and by listening to the needs of our clients; we believe that we have achieved this. In 1986 Wesumat were the first company to launch a roll over carwash with contour drying facilities in the form of the Softwash W86, and in 1990 were again the first to be able to offer a twin high speed rollover with the SoftWash Janus. As Wesumat’s reputation for excellence and innovation grew, so did the company and in 1993 Wesumat joined forces with Neptune under the Wesumat name.
