Ubichem Increases US Presence

As part of their ambitious growth plans Ubichem's presence in the US has increased considerably with the opening of Ubichem Inc. and the addition of two US sales and business development managers. The Pharma Services Division has been strengthened by the recruitment of Zsolt Bencze. Zsolt has previously worked in the pharma industry for Sanofi-Chinoin, and in sales and business development roles for Sigma-Aldrich, and most recently Digital Speciality Chemicals. Sean Maggert brings a wealth of experience in the sales and marketing of speciality chemicals to the Fine Chemicals Division. "We are delighted to have added Zsolt and Sean to the Ubichem team, and look forward to continued growth of our business in the US" said Geoff Porritt, Head of Business Development, Pharma Services Division. Ubichem will continue to offer quality services to the pharmaceutical, biotech and other high-technology industries. The Pharma Services Division provides development chemistry services, including GMP API and intermediate production, process research and development, analytical method development and validation, and radiolabelling, from facilities in Budapest, Hungary. Complementing this the Fine Chemicals Division provides sourcing and supply chain solutions to high-technology industries globally. The integration of global sourcing knowhow and world-class development capabilities allows Ubichem to support clients at all stages of the product lifecycle.
