Turner Butler has completed the successful sale of Marvic Textiles the venerable and well-known fabric business. Rupert Cattell said: “This was quite a journey, two deals fell over but we stuck with it and were able to procure a successful outcome for our client with a third buyer. Deals are fragile things and I have always said that 80% of a broker’s work is done after offer and acceptance. That’s why vendors need someone in their corner who has the experience and resilience to push a deal through. Business broking is a black art and there are very few people who can do it properly.”
