The latest generation of Multigauge 4000 Series ROV Underwater Thickness Gauges from Tritex NDT introduces a new enhanced display, offering improved visibility and clearer real-time data feedback in all underwater conditions. This upgrade makes ultrasonic thickness measurement even easier and more reliable for subsea inspections.

The Multigauge 4100 and Multigauge 4400 are simple yet robust ultrasonic thickness gauges designed for seamless mounting onto a wide range of work-class ROVs. The Multigauge 4100 is depth rated to 1000 m, while the Titanium Multigauge 4400 is rated to an impressive 4000 m, ensuring optimal performance in the harshest offshore environments.

Using multiple echo technology, these gauges measure through coatings up to 6 mm thick (and up to 20 mm with Coating Plus+), eliminating the need to remove protective layers. Both models now benefit from a clear, modern display that delivers sharper readings and improved visibility during complex subsea operations.

Each unit features Intelligent Probe Recognition (IPR) and the Automatic Measurement Verification System (AMVS), ensuring accurate and verified results on even the most corroded surfaces. The gauges connect easily via RS422 / RS232 and integrate with Tritex’s Communicator software for data logging and real-time analysis.

A dedicated probe holder ensures consistent and accurate positioning on both flat and curved surfaces. The optional A-scan display continues to offer graphical representation of measurements in real time, enhancing analysis for critical applications.
