The Trafag 87x8 Arctic is the gas density monitor for switchgear that lives in the cold. It is built for SF6 and alternative insulating gases in installations exposed to extreme low temperatures.

Like the rest of Trafag's mechanical range, it uses an absolute pressure reference gas measuring system with switching contacts, giving accurate density readings without separate temperature compensation.
