The Trafag 878x hybrid puts a mechanical gas density monitor and an electronic gas density sensor into one compact unit. You get switchpoint alarm contacts, a local gas pressure indication and a continuous current output from a single device.

That means one fewer part to fit, wire and maintain on every gas compartment. The mechanical side handles the alarms, while the electronic side feeds continuous density data to your control system.
