Days after the devastating flooding at Cockermouth, Telford based Torton Bodies rushed to the assist in the rebuilding of the town by providing an advice centre for Barclays Bank clients.
Barclays Bank approached Torton to supply a mobile hospitality unit where advice and reassurance to the flood sufferers could be offered. The unit was in situ two days later on Monday. Clive Andrews from Torton says “We received a phone call on Saturday morning and by close of play Monday the unit was in place, branded ready for business.”
Mr Russell of Barclays Bank stated “Please thank all concerned for such a rapid deployment.”
