About Us
Qaiser M. Talib has always lived in the Midlands, studying in inner city schools. In further education, he went on to gain a Bachelor of Arts History Degree at the University of Birmingham as well as a degree in Religious Education.
After a short break from academia, he gained a PGCE from Birmingham City University, after which he began working in the school system where he clocked up around ten years of teaching.
During an enforced learning curve after a number of complex life challenges, Qaiser became fascinated by how memories are stored and how they can affect people long after core memories are recorded in the subconscious. Therefore, he set himself the challenge of understanding the inner workings of the human mind especially how emotions are formed.
His eventual goal was always to help people who are struggling with debilitatingly negative thought patterns.
Since then, Qaiser has gained Diplomas and Practitioner Certificates in: CBT, Counselling, Hypnotherapy, Life Coaching, Marriage Counselling, Mindfulness and Psychotherapy in order to help his clients smoothly work towards a more fulfilling life.
A fully-fledged member of the Professional Hypnotherapy Practitioner Association (PHPA), Qaiser is bound by their code of ethics which can be found on their website. The Professional Hypnotherapy Diploma is considered to be the ‘gold standard’ qualification in the world of hypnosis.
You will find Qaiser to be a welcoming, professional and empathic therapist: during your consultation, during your treatment sessions and once the problem has been eliminated.
Because of his teaching background, Qaiser also visits schools around the Midlands, teaching young people how to manage their thoughts and emotions in carefully-crafted workshops. These lessons enable young people of all ages to understand the importance of mental health and offers them easy-to-follow techniques to monitor their own thoughts and feelings.
Away from The Voice Therapeutix, Qaiser enjoys playing and watching various sports. He attends as many crickets matches as possible and is a season ticket holder at a Premier League club. He has also volunteered at Birmingham’s famous Home of Metal in the past and loves to spend time with family and friends – and has even written a couple of children’s books.
