What is the difference between a folding and multi-fold wheelchair ramp?

A folding ramp closes like a book into two halves, while a multi-fold ramp concertinas into several smaller sections for a more compact carry size.

Both give the same anti-slip aluminium surface and safety edges. Multi-fold tends to suit longer lengths where a smaller folded footprint matters for storage or transport.
