The Foamsert is a development of the Trisert with a coarse external thread form. Ideally suited for use in structural foam materials, wood and wood derivatives, and low density materials. The specially designed external form maximises performance in these types of material.The Double Ended Foamsert has a lead on both ends and can, therefore, be installed either way up, significantly simplifying the installation process. For high volume applications in particular, the double ended version facilitates the design of simple bowl fed mechanisms for automatic installation equipment, thus reducing tooling costs.
