T&R Test Equipment Strengthens Partnerships in Hong Kong

As part of a wider tour across South East Asia, T&R Test Equipment Ltd recently visited Hong Kong to strengthen international partnerships through technical training and product presentations. Led by Gary Biggs, Sales & Commercial Director, the visit included meetings with two regional distributors: China Scientific (HK) Ltd and C&K Instruments (HK) Ltd.

A detailed training session focused on the 50ADM-P Secondary Current Injection Test Set, one of T&R’s most portable and versatile instruments. Weighing just 13.2 kg, the 50ADM-P delivers high-precision current injection up to 50 A, making it ideal for field engineers. Attendees explored advanced timing functions, safety features, and digital metering, seeing how the unit simplifies relay testing and protection verification. To provide practical experience, China Scientific is offering a two-month trial of the 50ADM-P for end users in Hong Kong.

T&R also met with C&K Instruments (HK) Ltd, where Gary Biggs presented the company’s range of primary and secondary current injection systems, high-voltage detectors, and live-line testers. The session enabled a valuable exchange of technical insight and demonstrated how T&R solutions meet the demanding needs of testing and commissioning across Asia.
