In the high voltage sector, knowledge cannot stand still.
As electrical networks become more complex and testing standards continue to evolve, engineers need to stay up to date with the latest practices, technologies and safety procedures.
T&R Test Equipment Ltd is pleased to announce a series of free High Voltage Testing Workshops taking place across the UK throughout 2026, delivered in partnership with PASS Ltd.
These practical, engineer-focused sessions are designed to provide valuable technical insight, live demonstrations and hands-on experience with the latest high voltage testing and safety equipment.
The first workshop takes place on Tuesday 26 May 2026 in Leeds, with further sessions scheduled in Hamilton and Stevenage later in the year.
Why attend?
For engineers working in commissioning, maintenance, protection testing or high voltage safety, keeping pace with industry developments is essential.
These workshops have been specifically designed to help professionals strengthen their technical knowledge while gaining practical exposure to proven testing methods and equipment.
Expert technical knowledge
Attendees will gain insight from experienced specialists at T&R Test Equipment Ltd, drawing on more than four decades of experience supporting the high voltage sector.
The sessions will cover practical testing challenges, best-practice methodologies and real-world applications.
Hands-on equipment demonstrations
This is not a presentation-based seminar.
Participants will have the opportunity to work directly with a wide range of T&R and Metrohm test equipment, including live demonstrations of:
- 50ADM-P
- 200ADM-P Mk2
- 750ADM Mk4
- CU-P Primary Injection Systems
- High Voltage Instruments range
Practical learning
The workshop is structured around the challenges engineers face in the field.
Topics include:
- Relay testing methodologies
- Protection system validation
- Primary versus secondary injection testing
- Cable commissioning and impedance measurement
- High voltage testing accuracy
- Avoiding common measurement errors
- Safe high voltage testing procedures
Networking opportunities
Attendees will be able to meet fellow engineers, commissioning specialists and testing professionals from across the industry.
These sessions provide an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas, discuss practical challenges and share operational experience.
Free attendance
Attendance is completely free, with complimentary lunch and refreshments provided.
