On Thursday 20th March 2025, T&R Test Equipment Ltd., in partnership with PASS Ltd., hosted an exclusive High Voltage Testing Workshop in Leeds. We’re pleased to report that the event was a resounding success, bringing together industry professionals for a day filled with practical demonstrations, informative presentations and expert-led discussions.
A Day of Expertise and Practical Learning
The workshop offered attendees valuable insights into high-voltage testing and commissioning procedures, covering key areas such as relay testing, primary injection testing, and testing for dead high-voltage systems. Hands-on demonstrations allowed participants to engage directly with the latest testing equipment, strengthening their understanding of safe working practices and best-in-class procedures.
From the moment registration opened, the energy and interest from attendees were clear. The relay testing session explored the critical role relays play in protecting electrical systems, while the primary injection segment clarified the differences between primary and secondary injection and their importance in substations throughout the UK. The final segment on high-voltage testing for dead systems underlined the importance of rigorous safety checks before commencing maintenance or testing.
