T & K Precision is a family owned and operated business established in 1961 and based in Northampton after relocating from London. We have become specialist manufacturers to the Motor Racing Industry, producing high-tolerance, fast turnaround, Thread Rolled Studs and Fixings manufactured and completed, primarily for customers involved in the Formula 1 & Indy Cart Series. For the first twenty years, T & K Precision’s work was MOD related, but as time went on new buyers became aware of the quality of the work that the company routinely produced and the business expanded in to the motor racing field where there was a need for high quality products and service. T & K Precision’s speciality is in the rolling of threads, the resulting features are a stronger component, since the material work hardens as it is formed, with a superior finish to that of a cut thread. Custom made, thread rolling machines are used to produce a wide range of precision threads for a variety of purposes. Many GT Endurance and British Touring Car Teams are also being supplied exclusively by T & K Precision. Whole or part manufacture is available, with Turning/Grinding/Milling and other operations providing a complete service for all T & K’s many national and international customers. The highest standards in precision engineering is the main objective of T & K Precision, and therefore we have concentrated our capabilities on the production of precision turned parts ranging in size from 3mm to 50mm diameter across a wide range of specialised materials, including nimonics and super alloys.
