Major order for coldrooms on defence ships

Stancold has recently secured a large order from MOD for 6 coldrooms for food storage on offshore patrol vessels. The installations are expected to start in March next year. We are delighted to have been trusted once again to build coldrooms for our national defence agency. The successful delivery of coldrooms in the aircraft carriers is extremely challenging. Regulatory conditions over the past few years have set us apart as a contractor who is fully equipped to undertake this specialist construction within our treasured ship building industry.
