Oxidisers for Metals Many metal manufacturing processes require large amounts of natural gas to ensure proper application and fast curing times, which can generates a substantial amount of CO2 and nitrous oxides(NOX). In addition to these emissions, solvent-based coatings can release Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAP's) and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC's) that need to be treated by an air pollution control device such as an oxidiser. Through a partnership with Anguil Environmental Systems, Spooner provide a range of air pollution abatement systems for the metals industry to reduce CO2 emissions and destroy over 99% of VOC's and HAP's from the atmosphere through a process of high temperature destruction with very little fuel consumption.
