Spooner takes home yet another award!

A great start to 2016 as Spooner is named as Large Business of the Year at the Ilkley Business Awards. Held on Friday night at the Kings Hall, the Ilkley Business Awards is the first of its kind, set up by the Ilkley Business Forum to celebrate the success of local businesses and the people behind them. The evening was a sell out and a huge success. As well as winning an award Spooner was also pleased to present the Apprentice of the Year award to young trainee Jodie Verity who works for leading accountancy firm, Wintersgill Gill Associates. Mike Brook, Spooner Managing Director said, “We have a fantastic workforce who continue to develop innovative engineering solutions that we export all over the world. As a local business we are extremely proud to be recognised as Large Business of the Year in Ilkley. It’s great to be involved and supported by our local community as so many people local people either work for or supply to Spooner”
