Manchester Tennis Club Bramhall Lane Have Synthetic Grass Courts Fully Rejuvenated Posted on Friday 23rd November, 2012 Manchester based tennis club Bramhall Lane LTC chose SSP Ltd to Fully Rejuvenate the artificial grass tennis courts at their club. SSP’s Synthetic Grass Sports Surface Maintenance division met with members of the club to inspect the tennis court surfaces and offer the committee a full report on all the courts and a cost effective solution to the problems found. The Rejuvenation of five of the artificial grass tennis courts has recently been completed. The existing infill has been extracted from the artificial turf pile removing the old contaminated and compacted sand infill using SSP’s high pressured compressed air Rejuvenation Process. New infill was then applied to the existing artificial grass carpet and brushed in to the correct levels. Drainage has now been restored through the synthetic grass backing and the algal spores that had established themselves within the artificial turf have been removed. During the process the existing carpet fibres were lifted and separated.
