Edward Wilson Primary Rooftop Playground New Safety Surfacing & Sports Area Posted on Monday 12th November, 2012 Edward Wilson Primary School in Westminster rooftop playground underwent a transformation over the summer holidays. SSP installed a river themed wet pour area and a astro type sports pitch. The wet pour area included a chess / chequers board , a river and stepping stone. ‘This project was a challenge ‘ Andrew Lofting Project Manager Said ‘ Getting the materials up to the rooftop and ensuring the weight of materials didn’t overload any particular spot on the roof prior to installation involved intense planning. Both area’s look superb and will serve the school for many years . The small football area ensures the ball is kept in play . The safety surfacing is perfect for the rooftop to soften and brighten it.”
