EXPANDING THE TECSOUND OFFER When it comes to soundproofing, TECSOUND remains one of our most popular product ranges. Our TECSOUND acoustic solutions are known for their outstanding adaptability to surfaces, and we are now maximising that product characteristic with TECSOUND Tube S, a soundproofing complex with self-adhesive strips for positioning and overlapping, easing installation. The rolls, which consist of TECSOUND membrane bonded to a non-woven porous polyester fleece, can be used to insulate all types of wastewater pipes in commercial and residential buildings – from PVC and fibre cement to metal pipes – and are suitable for new-builds and refurbishment jobs. Each roll can be quickly installed directly on the pipe to reduce both airborne and impact noise, from the water passing through the pipe as well as structure-borne noise along the duct. VELAPHONE ACOUSTIC UNDERLAY VELAPHONE FIBRE 22 is an impact noise underlay used under screed or timber/parquet floors, reducing the noise directly at the source by isolating the mechanically linked elements and limiting lateral transmissions. The insulation layer consists of a high tenacity, polyester-based non-woven felt laminated to a bituminous protection, and it offers an impact noise insulation of ΔLW 22 dB (a value determined through standardised tests with a 14-centimetre-thick concrete slab combined with a 4-centimetre-thick screed over the acoustic underlay). It follows the standard NF P 61-203; laboratory test reports show compliance with EN ISO 140-1, EN ISO 140-3, EN ISO 140-6, EN ISO 140-8, EN ISO 20140-2, EN ISO 717/1/2 standards.
