PAVATEX SOLUTION FOR DOG CHARITY REHOMING PROJECT

Soprema were approached in 2020, by a surveyor carrying out work for Dun-Roamin’, a charity based in the Midlands, who take dogs from ‘death row’ and work to prepare them and their adopters for re-homing. They were looking to insulate the kennels before winter set in. The existing kennels were failing both in the winter and the summer and offered no respite for the animals. As a result, Soprema along with our distribution partner Unity Lime Products have donated pallets of Pavatex woodfibre insulation to use within the structure. This along with the other measures being included, as well as heat lamps, blankets (and pyjamas – if they will wear them), will offer these animals a significantly improved environment to live in and not just over the winter. The insulation will also mitigate the overheating within the kennels during the summer months as well.
