Shaw Lifting was founded in 1986 to provide a specialist company manufacturing wire rope slings, polyester webbing slings, load restraint equipment and the supply, hire, inspection, servicing and testing of all types of lifting equipment. Having run businesses supplying the offshore, oil and gas, port authorities, petrochemical, and mining sectors, directors Neville Shaw and Peter Turner saw a gap in the market for a lifting company which focused on outstanding service, quality and problem solving. Shaw Lifting has thrived for more than 3 decades and now works with some of the largest and most respected companies within their sectors, including DeepOcean, A&P Tees, Cleveland Potash, Ecosse Subsea Systems, Port of Blyth, Modus Seabed Intervention, Sarens, PD Ports, Mech-Tool Engineering, and Richard Preston & Sons.
