External Stop Beads

Renderplas External Stop beads are for applications at or above DPC level and window heads and are designed with an optimum angle to both support the base of the render and to allow rainwater to drip clear of the underlying substrate. Door and window surrounds to prevent cracking. They provide a perfect stop to the render at at the edge of the rendered section. Renderplas External Stop beads are designed to meet the Standatrd BS EN 13914-1:2016 - External Rendering and are available in colours as well as in standard white form. The colours available are: White Ivory, Terracotta, Wheat, Salmon, Slate, Dove, Sky, Willow. All standard White beads are manufactured from 100% recycled material with coloured External Stop beads manufactured from more than 96% recycled material. Renderplas Stop bead profiles range from 4mm to 20mm. Supplied in packs of 25, 2.5m lengths Renderplas deliver free if more than 5 packs are ordered and are delivered in a robust fibreboard tube. Fixing Guidelines: Plumb straight and embed in continuous line of adhesive mortar or onto dabs at 150mm centres. Mechanical fixings at centre and both ends are recommended. Cutting to length: Use fine toothed hacksaw or tin snips. PVC PipeWeld adhesive can be used for butt joints. Storage: Store flat away from heat and direct sun.
