Elvox Common Gate - Safety Photocells Pairs of photocells type ZF to provide safety beams for Elvox general gate automation. These photocells are provided in pairs and may be mounted at a distance from the gates on the interior of the protected area to trigger gate or barrier opening automatically for vehicles wishing to leave the protected area. They can also be mounted nearer to the gate or barrier, either just inside or just outside the protected area in order to operate as an additional safety measure to prevent the gate from closing until the vehicle is well clear of the gate or barrier's operating zone.
