Skip to the beginning of the images gallery Details Circular Smoke Control Damper for one (single) fire compartment with Automatic Activation is CE certified in accordance with the EN 12101-8, tested according to EN 1366-10 and classified in accordance with EN13501-4. DKIR1’s casing is made of a zinc plated sheet metal. Metal covered blade has fire resistant board inside. Duct sealing is used for connection of the damper DKIR1 to a duct. Smoke control damper is a component of SHEVS (smoke and heat extract ventilation systems) and has two safety positions: Open - to enable exhaust of heat and smoke. or Closed - to stop the spread of heat and smoke. They are disposed of according to legal regulations. The product does not contain any dangerous materials. Tightness All circular smoke control dampers have tightness of the blade/casing class 2B according to EN 1751. Actuator operated fire dampers By default, all smoke control dampers are supplied with an actuator with micro switches, optionally with power and communication unit. Smoke control damper closes or opens the damper after the command from the building management system or connected smoke detector. The Actuator closes within 60 seconds and does not need a fire resistive cover. For the duration of the blade rotation the current must be supplied, therefore it is necessary to connect the smoke control damper through fire resistive cables.
