They certainly don't work like a normal air purifier. As a result, they don't look like a normal air purifier either. The CellFlow range relies on the EcoPrecision™ filter. This is an electrostatic filter that can be easily cleaned. This means that several of the range have a self cleaning or semi self cleaning mechanism. ● Whisper quiet ● Very high filtration efficiency, equivalent of H14 HEPA ● High energy efficiency ● Very low running costs ● Effective filtration of viruses, bacteria and mould spores ● Effective filtration of soot, smoke, pollen and other particulates ● Excellent performance against PM10, PM2.5 and PM0.1 Semi Self Cleaning Commercial Air Purifier Semi self cleaning SSC CellFlow models with semi self cleaning will automatically clean the EcoPrecision™ filter when the dust extraction arm on the air purifier is lowered. The hose of a normal vacuum cleaner can be attached to the dust extraction arm and the dust dislodged form the electrostatic filter will be sucked into your vacuum cleaner. Semi Self Cleaning Commercial Air Purifier Economics Assuming you are happy with the efficiency and air flow of a Commercial Air Purifier, the next consideration is the running cost. These arise from; Frequency and cost of maintenance Number and cost of spares Usage and cost of energy Consider each cost in turn; Maintenance. The CellFlow Ind1000 SCS is semi self cleaning. This means it periodically it will need to be activated to start the cleaning cycle with a conventinoal vacuum cleaner attached to the dust extract arm. This, therefore, is a maintenance job your staff will have to howvever it is an easy task requiring no disassembly of the air purifier and it should not take much time. Spares. This air resistance increases as the dust loading on the filter increases which means that the energy usage goes up as the filters get dirty. TheCellFlow Ind1000 SCS has a EcoPrecision™ filter. This filter is electrostatic and has negligible air resistance therefore very low running costs. Periodically running the semi self cleaning cycle ensures that the wattage required by the fan is always minimal.
