The TFT ADP 2000 - 9500 dessicant dehumidifier range.

PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION.

The dehumidifier uses two opposing airflows: process air (dehumidified) and regeneration air (used to dry the rotor). Two high-efficiency fans drive these flows through a slowly rotating silica gel desiccant rotor, which absorbs moisture from the process air and delivers a dry air stream for supply or further treatment.

The system works reliably from –30°C to +40°C. A motor and gearbox turn the rotor slowly by belt drive. Regeneration air is heated (typically +100°C above ambient) and passed through the rotor in the opposite direction, releasing absorbed moisture as vapor to the outside. This prepares the rotor for continuous operation.

STRUCTURE.

Casing: galvanized steel insulated panels (painted or stainless steel AISI304 optional).

Easy access via removable top and front panels.

FANS.

Direct-coupled motors (IP55, ISO F, class B), single- or three-phase.

Protected by safety panels during operation.

Standard fixed speed; optional frequency converter for variable airflow control.

ROTOR.

Honeycomb, heat-resistant structure containing silica gel.

High absorption capacity in compact design.

Withstands saturated air, fan stoppages, and pre-cooling coils.

Non-combustible and non-flammable.

TRANSMISSION SYSTEM.

Belt-driven rotor, 6–12 rph, powered by motor and gearbox.

Belt tensioning prevents slip; rotor visible for inspection.

Mounted on ball bearings around central shaft.

REGENERATION HEATING COIL.

Electric: Steel elements in multiple control banks; optional proportional power modulation for efficiency.

Steam: Stainless steel tubes with aluminum fins; includes modulating valve for flow control.

FILTERS.

Two G4 filters (process and regeneration air).

Higher grades available on request.

PLC CONTROL.

Touch-screen PLC regulates temperature, protection, cooldown, sequencing, alarms, humidity/dewpoint, and pre/post-treatment.

Can integrate with external humidistats, BMS systems, and MODBUS protocols.

ELECTRICAL PANEL.

Built to EU standards (73/23, 89/336).

Top access panel.

Includes mains switch, thermal switches, relays, and terminal block for remote ON/OFF and alarm contacts.

IDEAL APPLICATIONS.

TFT ADP 2000 - 9500 range has dehumidifiers which are ideal cold storage applications as well as other low temperature environments. In more moderate temperatures they are can be used to prevent condensation in warehouses, for humidity control in manufacturing processes or for mold prevention in commercial and industrial applications.
