The TFT AD 7000 - 25000 silica gel dehumidifier system.

PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION.

TheTFT AD 7000 - 25000 silica gel dehumidifier system uses two opposing airflows: process air (to be dried) and regeneration air (to dry the rotor). Two high-efficiency fans drive these streams through a slowly rotating silica gel desiccant rotor. Moisture from the process air is absorbed as vapor and discharged as dry air.

Regeneration air is heated (typically +100 °C above ambient) and passed in the opposite direction, releasing the rotor’s moisture as vapor to the outside. This cycle allows continuous operation. The system works reliably from –30 °C to +40 °C.

STRUCTURE.

Painted galvanized steel insulated panels (AISI304 stainless optional).

Removable top and front panels for service.

Standard galvanized spiral duct connections.

FANS.

Direct-coupled IP55, ISO F, class B motors (single/three phase).

Safe access only with internal panel removed.

Fixed speed as standard; optional frequency converter for variable speed control.

ROTOR.

Honeycomb structure of heat-resistant sheets with silica gel.

High absorption surface in compact volume.

Tolerates saturated air, fan stoppage, and pre-cooling coils.

Non-combustible and non-flammable.

TRANSMISSION SYSTEM.

Belt drive at 6–12 rph with motor and reduction gearbox.

Belt tensioning prevents slip; rotation visible for inspection.

Rotor mounted on ball bearings around a central shaft.

REGENERATION HEATING COIL.

Electric: Steel elements in multiple control banks; optional proportional power control.

Steam: 304 stainless tubes with aluminum fins and a modulating valve for steam flow.

FILTERS.

Two G4 filters (process and regeneration air); higher grades available on request.

PLC CONTROL.

Touchscreen PLC regulates temperature, protection, cooldown, start sequence, alarms, humidity/dewpoint, and pre/post treatment.

Works with external humidistats, BMS systems, and MODBUS.

ELECTRICAL PANEL.

EU compliant (73/23, 89/336).

Top access panel with mains switch, thermal switches, fan/gear/relay protection, and terminals for remote ON/OFF and alarms.
