Grass Mats Grass Mats safer surfacing are the most popular of the safer surfacing's that we offer. Virtually maintenance free, the Grass Mats allow the grass to grow through – giving maximum protection to the users whilst allowing your play area to retain the natural look. Grass Mats are a recycled rubber (20% recycled rubber) safety surface that is ideal for Play Areas, Walkways, Embankments, Golf Courses & Gardens. They are designed to protect the ground from becoming ‘churned up’ which will create a muddy/boggy mess. Grass Mats are installed with a Ground Stabilizing Mesh, Pegs, and Ties. Grass Mats and all of our safer surfacing's are certified to BSEN-1177 standard.
