Plan Profiling is a family-run business that has been profiling steel plate for over 40 years, using the oxygen-propane flame cutting process. Although other methods of cutting have been developed which can cut with a higher degree of accuracy and finish (Laser, high-definition plasma, waterjet), flame-cutting remains the most cost and time-efficient method of cutting thicker carbon steel plate and slab. We can cut steel plate from 6mm to 200mm thick. Our machinery is CNC controlled, maximising accuracy and efficiency. Components can be chosen from the parts library and nested to provide the best usage of plate material, and large volumes of components can be produced quickly on our multi-head machines. We can accept designs directly from customers own CAD, minimising drawing errors, and streamlining the production process. We are committed to providing a high level of quality and accuracy. All our material has full traceability from stockholder to customer and can be provided with full material test certificates if required.
