Permalok Supplies Kelpies Sculptures

Permalok are proud to have supplied all the stainless steel C50L Huck lockbolts used in the construction of the Kelpies sculptures at the Helix Project near Falkirk in Scotland. Over 12,000 lockbolts were supplied by Permalok to main contractor SH Structures Ltd (www.shstructures.com) together with installation tooling sets. The structures were completed in November 2013 and, at over 30m high and 300 tonnes each, are truly stunning. The sculptures are already attracting interest and acclaim from around the world
