Gold Coatings For Plastics

Plastics are coated with thin, flexible coatings of Silver, Gold, Copper or Aluminium. Flat components, such as visors or mirrors, are placed inside the vacuum chamber and rotated whilst the evaporated metal is deposited onto them.
