Mechanical Design Engineer

Design engineer required to supply mechancial expertise to an existing multi-diciplined team of electronic and software engineers and workshop technicians. You will have a basic understanding of mechancial design principles, materials and processors. Familiarity with solid modelling CAD (any make) and preparation of design data for low volume component manufacture is required. Projects range from simple machine upgrades to large and complex bespoke packing and processing lines. You will be expected to work with initiative, as a team member, and participate 'hands-on' in the physical construction of machines. This is a rare opportunity for a graduate engineer looking for career development in a small high technology environment. Although not essential, one or two years experience would be an advantage.
