Complete range from the PST group at Sensors and Instrumentation
Michell Instruments, together with sister companies Rotronic, Ntron Gas Measurement, Dynament and Status Scientific Controls will be presenting the combined range of instruments and sensors for gas analysis and process control at Sensors and Instrumentation. Highlights on the stand include Michell’s latest dew-point transmitter, the SF82, which has been designed specifically to cover the -60 to +60 °C dew point range which is essential for dryer control. The new sensor is fast-responding and provides highly stable, long-term measurement reliability. The Rotronic Monitoring System (RMS) is a cloud-based platform that integrates both Rotronic and third-party equipment to provide users with real-time monitoring information that can be controlled securely via smartphone or PC from any location. With applications in warehouses and pharmaceutical production the system is versatile and can be designed to individual requirements. The SILO2 oxygen analyzer from Ntron Gas Measurement provides cost-effective oxygen measurements for inerting applications within additive manufacturing. The analyzer utilises two continuous self-monitoring microprocessors and the complete system (analyser and sensor) meets the requirements of IEC 61508 SIL2. The SILO2 analyser is designed for safe area installation with a single input intrinsically safe connection for a variety of hazardous area located ATEX certified Ntron oxygen sensors, via an integral galvanic isolation barrier. Dynament has launched a new low-power non-dispersive infra-red (NDIR) sensor – the LP2 – for use in portable and wireless gas detection devices to detect combustible gases and CO2. Using Dynament’s latest developments in NDIR sensing technology, the sensor features a low power consumption of 24 mW to operate – just one tenth of the power required for standard NDIR and catalytic combustible sensors. This low power consumption makes the sensor ideal for use in portable and wireless gas detection devices, providing extended runtimes to support longer operation between charges. The range of intrinsically safe gas detectors from Status Scientific Controls monitor and detect oxygen, toxic and flammable gases in hazardous areas. Originally created for use in the mining industry, the cost-effective instruments are now used in industries ranging from oil and gas, water treatment to telecoms and civil engineering and carry global hazardous area certification. Visit us on Stand 72 at Sensors and Instrumentation in Birmingham on 25th and 26th September.
