They comply with EN 61 984 (VDE 0627) connecting and disconnecting under load and when using additional latching they may also be used in installation systems (VDE 0628). Additionally they comply with IEC 61535 (VDE 0606 part 200) for "not easily accessible areas". They are available in 3 pole lengths only and have a leading earth pin fitted as standard. They are fully touchproof in both connected and unconnected positions and each pole is mechanically coded differently to prevent incorrect alignment
