Designed for the Gigabit Ethernet arena the FC-GigE fibre converter offers a low cost conversion of 1000Base-SX 50/125u or 62.5/125u multi mode fibre with a maximum range of 550m; to a 1000Base-LX interface with a range of 10km when used with 9/125u Single Mode Fibre The FC-GigE is rate agnostic and as such will adapt between single and multi-mode fibre interfaces at any speed up to the 1.25Gbps of Gigabit Ethernet.
