BC1X00: Baseband Converter LVDS HSSI

Designed for connecting satcom, routers and radio systems to Encryption Equipment, the Metrodata Baseband converter was developed to compliment new serial link and bulk cryptos using the LVDS/ EIA644 interface. This LVDS interface is not commonly found on Telecoms or Radio Systems and so the baseband converter allows connectivity of LVDS Encryption Equipment to existing or incompatible HSSI devices. By utilizing Metrodata's Baseband Converters, it is possible to utilize new and existing/legacy equipment with these new fast LVDS Cryptos. Typically used to interface Cisco HSSI Routers to LVDS Cryptos, or LVDS Cryptos to HSSI Satcom Modems or HSSI Radio Relay Systems, the baseband converter presents a major step in solving interoperability and interfacing issues within Defense networking. The product range consists of devices which offer an LVDS/EIA-644 connection to a HSSI DTE (Router) or a HSSI DCE (Satellite modem). With a maximum speed of 51.84Mb/s the Baseband Converter supports the same maximum rate of most LVDS Cryptos
