A central sensor detects when a patient lays on the bed. If they roll to the side of the bed the alarm is delayed. If they sit on the edge of the bed, or fall out of bed, an alarm signal is generated instantly. The advantage with this new design is the ability to send an alarm transmission before the person actually stands away from the bed. Note: This code is for sensor only. See alarm receivers below.
