The call button has a large surface area that is very easy to press and only requires the the slightest touch to activate an alert to a carer. When the switch is pressed, a signal is sent to the NMDRX alarm station informing the carer that assistance is required. The NMDRX has an adjustable volume sounder with ultra-bright flashing coloured LEDs to assist the hard of hearing.
