Mathison Engineering was commissioned to produce a bespoke selection of new fittings for the magnificent superyacht Shemara. The project formed part of the vessel’s extensive rebuild and restoration completed in 2014, which aimed to preserve and accentuate the yacht’s original features while introducing modern refinements.
Originally built in 1938 by Thornycroft & Company, Shemara carries a remarkable history, having been requisitioned by the Royal Navy during World War II. The restoration celebrated this heritage, combining traditional craftsmanship with contemporary engineering precision.
