Warm Welcome for Matcon in Kuala Lumpur

Both Matcon Lean Conference days at Kuala Lumpur were very well attended and with their presence, the participants sent a very warm welcome to the Matcon staff. Being active on the Malaysian market for more than a decade, it feels like 'coming home' every time when Matcon team members meet the local Food and Pharmaceutical professionals. The packed conference room at the Dorsett Grand hotel offered a great venue for the participants to absorb the modern Lean Materials Handling concepts and case studies. These were all geared to reducing waste, especially when it concerned Inventory and 'Waiting'. The event also provided a marvellous chance to network. A director of a fast growing Health Products Manufacturer stated: ''One of the highlights of the day was the opportunity to meet several other Matcon users and exchange experiences and ideas''. The Conference travelled further to Manila that week.
