Matcon on show at Process Expo

Process Expo, the Global Food Equipment & Technology Show, was held in downtown Chicago earlier this month. This event provided an excellent opportunity to showcase Matcon’s philosophy to provide ‘Lean’ Manufacturing Solutions to the powder processing and packaging industries. This was truly an international event with over 12,000 visitors in attendance, including delegates from Canada, South America and Germany. The three main exhibits on display were the FlexiBatch Micro (an automatic powder formulation system for micro ingredients), a scaled-down model of an IBC Tumble Blender and also a miniature model of a modern production plant, which has been supplied to a customer in Asia. We were pleased to host a continual flow of existing and potential new customers from the food industry, discussing several exciting new project opportunities. Given the current economic climate, this show was a great success for Matcon. With Process Expo moving to a biennial cycle, we look forward to seeing you there again when Process Expo returns to Chicago in October 2013!
