Embarking on a topical conference theme “Stay ahead of the competition in the Asian Economic Community” Matcon together with three International Industry Specialists recently held five conferences across South East Asia. The conference aim was to share industry expertise, knowledge, improve production agility, flexibility and ultimately improve competitiveness in the region by reducing the cost/Kg. There were 4 co-speakers: Matcon from UK, Quadro Engineering Corp. from Canada, Topack Co., Ltd. from Japan and Nova Pharma from Malaysia. These conferences attracted 220 delegates from both Food and Pharma industries. There were many discussions and interactions throughout the conference; different questions for each presenter. The highlight of this conference was an excellent testimonial from our existing client, Edmark in Malaysia, who took over the microphone at the end of the Kuala Lumpur Conference on Wednesday 18th May. The client praised both the Matcon IBC and Blending System and Topack Efficient Packing Solutions for their technology help and support, they made the audience aware this was the way forward for manufacturing plants.
