Manutech Europe Ltd has highlighted the Magnelab UCT-0300 solid-core AC current sensor in a recent LinkedIn post, drawing attention to its compact construction, measurement accuracy and standard voltage output.
The UCT-0300 series is available with input current ratings from 5 A to 30 A and provides a 0.333 V AC output at rated current. Its 0.30-inch opening offers a compact format for applications requiring AC current measurement.
Accuracy and output characteristics
Manutech lists linearity accuracy of ±1% for the standard sensor, with accuracy specified across 10% to 130% of rated current. The phase angle is less than one degree when measured at 50% of rated current.
A precision resistor controls the output, providing the 333 mV AC signal used by compatible measurement equipment. These specifications give engineers clear parameters to consider when matching a sensor to their monitoring requirements.
Rugged construction and connection leads
The sensor features an epoxy-encapsulated construction and is supplied with an eight-foot twisted-pair lead. Manutech also lists UL recognition among the series features.
For applications with different measurement requirements, custom output and other parameters are available. A revenue-grade version is also offered, with 0.5% linearity and a phase shift below 0.26 degrees; the relevant specification sheet should be consulted for full details.
