Geotextile Membranes and EcoGrid Explained
25/01/2024
Geotextile membranes and cellular paving grids solve different problems, but they are often used together in modern landscaping. Membranes separate layers, provide filtration or reinforcement, while grid systems stabilise loose fill and create a structured surface that can still allow water to move through.
Non-woven membranes are commonly used where filtration and separation are required, for example between soil and drainage stone.
Cellular paving systems such as EcoGrid can be used for paths, parking areas and other trafficked surfaces.
