Choosing the Best Gabion Stone

Gabion baskets can be used for retaining walls, boundaries, seating, raised beds and decorative features, but the finished result depends heavily on the stone placed inside them. Choosing by appearance alone can lead to problems with movement, gaps or an uneven face.

Start with basket size and mesh opening.

Colour also makes a substantial difference.
