The Iridite NCP process provides an environmentally safe, chrome-free passivation treatment designed specifically for aluminium alloys. It applies a highly corrosion-resistant conversion coating perfectly suited to be painted or left as a stand-alone corrosion resistant barrier. Iridite NCP provides corrosion protection that rivals conventional chromate conversion coatings when tested in accordance with ASTM B 117, and provides an incredible base for primer or paint, or for other organic treatments when tested in accordance with ASTM D 3359.
